EDUCATION IS THE
KEY TO FREEDOM,
FREEDOM IS THE ABILITY TO THINK FOR YOUR SELF,
AND THE AMERICAN WAY IS TO WORK HARD FOR YOUR DREAMS TO BUILD YOUR CASTLE
This is why I am a small business, scaling up to the next level of business, which could be investing in new equipment, workshops on trends, or improvements to existing establishments. Understanding the business you are in or wish to be in is the key to success. I started my business as a sole proprietor and at one time had no desire to grow to corporation, meaning I was stuck in the mom & pop scenario until I heard Mirah Carey put Emmien in his place with the simile of him being a mom and pop and she being a corporation.
So now I am researching how to incorporate and if incorporation is the business structure for me. I started my cosmetology business blindly, I had the proper training from Berean Institute, under Ms. Gainer, Ms. Brown and Ms. Wallace but I was 19 and this was my first exposure to being a business. I learned the hard way and didn’t invest wisely, although I did stay in training. I was half a business, well trained and bookkeeping by my appointment book only. Success leaves clues, and Life Experiences are the best teachers, take some time to invest in your endeavors by researching your dreams and goals. Learn to utilize resources at your local Free Library, SCORE Counselors, Professional Associations and Non-Profits that work in your area of interest. Most of all remember that education doesn’t take a vacation, I find so many wonderful resources on bulletin boards, street poles and community centers resource racks along with the world wide internet.
